FAQs

What is Aurora?
Aurora is reacHIRE's leadership transformation program, built to help people move from waiting on change to leading it. Participants from within one organization work in cohorts guided by former senior executives, building the judgement and influence to step into decisions and drive initiatives instead of sitting them out. The program typically runs for 6 months and is tailored to an organization's pace of change.
Who is Aurora for?
Aurora is built for mid-career managers, directors, and technologists at companies navigating significant change, including major AI initiatives. We support people ready to take a more active role in shaping that change within an organization.
Why is Aurora organized in cohorts?
Aurora runs in cohorts because change sticks when people move through it together, not alone. Peers create a shared language, mutual accountability, and a network that outlasts the program. This structure turns individual growth into organizational impact: carrying new behaviors across the team, not just one person at a time.
What makes Guides different from typical trainers or coaches?
reacHIRE Guides are former senior executives who've led teams through massive change, something an AI coach or traditional facilitator has never done. They know what it feels like to navigate uncertainty, and bring that lived experience directly into the room with participants. Because Guides also facilitate individual 1:1s, they build connection, reinforce learning, and help participants grow and stay engaged within the organization.
How does Aurora strengthen the people who go through the program?
Aurora starts by helping participants identify their strengths, then builds the agency and curiosity to navigate ambiguity, show up differently, and pursue bold ideas. Through coaching, peer learning, and real-world application, Guides and peers help turn insight into action, and participants build networks across the company that help new strategies stick. The result: people apply their strengths more fully and create a lasting impact on the business.
How does Aurora benefit the company, not just the participant?
As participants bring more of their own judgement and initiative to the work, that shows up as measurable impact across the business: less hesitation, faster decisions, and teams that adapt instead of stall. Aurora is built so growth at the individual level compounds into organizational return.
We already use a learning platform like LinkedIn Learning — why do we need Aurora too?
Skills libraries typically deliver content asynchronously, but content alone rarely changes how people show up at work. Aurora combines personalized coaching, live team sessions, and peer learning in cohorts. Between sessions, participants also have access to on-demand tools that reinforce what they're building with their Guide, so learning turns into real behavior change through guidance, direct feedback, and practice.
How much time does Aurora require from participants and managers?
Aurora asks for approximately 1–2 hours a week from participants, split between group discussions, 1:1s, and platform assignments, with optional short "quick connect" sessions available when they have extra time. The program is fully virtual, lowering cost and time commitment. Its virtual delivery system enables participants to participate globally but in a hands-on format.
Which industries or company situations is Aurora built for?
Aurora is proven across a variety of industries and complex business environments. We've worked with global organizations in financial services, technology, healthcare software, telecommunications, semiconductors, and retail, among others. Each engagement is tailored to the organization's culture, priorities, and populations, so the program fits the business rather than the other way around. See our proven results here.
How does reacHIRE customize Aurora to a specific organization?
Customization starts with your organization's priorities: the specific business strategies, populations, and outcomes you're solving for. From there, Guides are matched to cohorts, and program emphasis shifts to reflect what your teams need most. The core framework stays consistent, while execution is tailored to your business and people.

We also incorporate your branding, corporate competencies, values, and language, so Guides reinforce the terminology participants use internally. Company leaders are also embedded directly into the experience throughout the program via short videos and as live featured guest speakers, bringing familiar voices and context into the learning.
How does Aurora help employees adapt to AI-driven change?
Aurora addresses the human side of AI-driven change, building the mindset, curiosity, courage, and personal agency leaders need to evolve as work changes rapidly. Cohort discussions create space to experiment, share experiences, and challenge assumptions, helping foster the attitudes, behaviors, and cultural shifts needed to accelerate AI adoption and move people and businesses forward.
How is AI incorporated into the Aurora program?
Aurora includes an AI Hub built specifically for participants, with two tools: an Action Planner that offers structured advice for workplace challenges, and an AI Mentor for real-time guidance on career and workday decisions. Built on reacHIRE's proprietary framework and trained on insights from hundreds of experts, Guides, and executives, AI Hub goes beyond generic AI tools to encourage proactive problem-solving and decision-making for immediate challenges.
What is the foundation behind Aurora's approach?
reacHIRE has spent over a decade unlocking personal agency at scale, starting with professionals rebuilding their careers after a career break (Returners). That same approach, turning insight into lasting behavior change, was applied to leaders and teams already inside companies, 100% of whom have renewed and expanded their programs.
Why choose Aurora over 1:1 coaching?
1:1 coaching typically focuses on the individual alone. Aurora strengthens the individual and the organization together, through cross-functional peer cohorts that share perspectives and hold each other accountable while building real networks across the company. Combined with personalized coaching, the shared experience helps participants apply what they learn in the context of their own organization, creating impact that outlasts any single coaching relationship.
Why choose Aurora over building a leadership development program in-house?
Building an internal leadership development program requires ongoing investment: time, headcount, and continual work to research, update, expand content as needs change, and deliver it.

Aurora removes that work with a ready-to-deploy customizable curriculum, former executives bringing diverse industry experience, and a robust, integrated platform. Built-in qualitative and quantitative analytics give you visibility into engagement, behavior change, and outcomes, so you can make informed talent decisions without building the infrastructure yourself.
What is reacHIRE's Return-to-Work program, and who qualifies?
reacHIRE's Return-to-Work program is designed for experienced professionals re-entering the workforce after a voluntary career break of two or more years. We recruit qualified Returners and match them to open roles at partner companies, where they become reacHIRE employees for 6 months while working a full-time assignment at a world-class corporation. From day one, program managers conduct robust re-immersion training, monthly workshops, and 1:1 coaching with facilitators who specialize in career re-entry. Our proprietary platform provides on-demand tools and peer community to sustain momentum throughout. Explore our Return-to-Work program.
How do employers benefit from hiring Returners through reacHIRE?
reacHIRE manages the full Returnship engagement, specifically designed to drive long-term retention and lasting contribution to your organization. Candidates are matched to your open roles, culture, and priorities, and placed on our payroll for six months with no obligation to convert. 85–90% of Returners convert to permanent roles, and approximately 90% are still with the company three or more years later.
