reacHIRE Returnship Program Boosts Growth for Financial Services Company
About The Company
Our financial services client provides comprehensive solutions to help businesses and individuals manage their investments. We worked with them to customize a year-long program that allowed participants to work at the company beyond the typical six-month duration. Our cohort model was tailored to meet this unique requirement, which resulted in high retention rates. The success of the program has also led to other divisions within the company launching programs of their own, showcasing the potential for expansion and continued collaboration.
The Challenge
The objective for this client was to enhance the diversity of their workforce, with a specific focus on tech and finance roles, and to fill 9 positions in Tampa, Florida. The potential candidates were required to possess a suitable blend of relevant experience, skills, and compatibility with the client’s work culture, as well as an ability to commit to full-time work.
The Solution
The reacHIRE team promoted the program extensively. They sourced, vetted and interviewed candidates, and provided the client’s hiring managers with a slate of highly qualified candidates from which to choose. The selected cohort completed reacHIRE’s proprietary return to work immersion training during the initial week of their program, then went on to work for 6 months with teams and hiring managers, supported all the while by a dedicated reacHIRE Program Manager.
The Results
We not only succeeded in filling the positions, but we also managed to accomplish the objective of hiring a diverse group of candidates. All the individuals placed in these positions were people of color, with 89% of them being women. Additionally, the onboarding experience was highly rated by the participants, who gave it a perfect NPS score of 10, indicating that they are enthusiastic and positive about their new roles. At the end of the program, 83% of the positions were filled.
